Notes in HoudiniEsq 2.0 are the most simple type of record which can be created. They can be used to convey information that does not fit into any of the other record categories, such as Events or Todos, or does not have a custom field allocated to it.
It’s best to think of the Notes feature in HoudiniEsq as a Post-It, or scratch pad to jot down quick reminders, observations, facts you discovered, thoughts and ideas. You can also use them to convey information to other staff who are associated with a Matter without assigning the record to one in particular.
Notes can be accessed from the Matter Dashboard by selecting a case and then clicking the Notes toggle at the top of the screen. You can add a topic and content to the Note. Clicking the checkbox will save the Note to the Matter record.
